1. How does the auto reinvesting function work?
Once the auto reinvest function in the Grid bot is enabled, the bot will accumulate your generated grid profits every 24 hours and place them into a reinvesting section for potential auto reinvestment. However, for the auto reinvestment to actually occur, the bot needs to accumulate grid profits up to a certain threshold amount. Once this threshold is met, the bot will use the funds in the reinvesting section to purchase positions at the market price, and these positions will then be distributed to the grid's sell orders.
2. What does this minimum required threshold amount refer to?
This refers to the minimum investment amount required for the same bot parameters and number of grids. It can be calculated in a new grid bot order using the same parameters and number of grids. For example, if you try to create a new bot using the same parameters, the interface will show you the minimum amount required to start the bot. This amount is roughly similar to the threshold.
3. After the actual auto reinvestment occurs, will the bot purchase positions at the market price at the time auto reinvestment occurs and will there be any historical records?
Yes, once the previously mentioned conditions are met, the bot will purchase positions at the market price during the actual auto-reinvestment process and these positions are now reflected in the "Holding profit" section. After the auto-reinvestment is completed, the bot's "Balance Change History" page will display a transaction record reflecting the modification interval triggered by the automatic reinvestment.
4. My Grid profits are currently stored in the 'Reinvesting' section. I have disabled the 'Reinvest Profits Automatically' function in the bot. Why can't I release the Grid profits stored in the 'Reinvesting' section, even though the actual auto-reinvestment hasn't occurred yet?
Once the profits are stored in the 'Reinvesting' section, this amount can no longer be released using the 'Release Profits' function after disabling the 'Reinvest Profits Automatically' option, regardless of whether the actual reinvestment has occurred or not. However, after disabling this feature, the next grid profits generated by the bot will not be placed into the 'Reinvesting' section, allowing you to release them. After the bot is closed, the funds associated with the bot, including the ones locked in the 'Reinvesting' section, will become tradable again.
5. Is there a possibility of losing when reinvesting?
Yes, after the auto reinvestment occurs, if the coin price drops, temporary losses can occur. This is because the reinvested profits are now part of the principal, and the bot is holding those positions.
